Story Line:
The film is divided into three separate stories. In the first, an elderly man who, based on his dress and office décor, is financially successfully, frustratingly tries to cancel his newspaper subscription. The second story begins in the kitchen of a family in the midst of going through a divorce. While the husband is attempting to cope with his wife’s decision to separate, he maintains a level of normalcy around the children despite her uneasiness and desire to be rid of him. The final and most disturbing tale revolves around a young couple with a newborn baby. After a brief period of time watching the man tape up his hand and talk to a television, the audience soon realizes that there is a woman bound and gagged in the adjacent room.
